RivalCheck

A competitor analyst,
inside your own agent

Install one skill and name a rival. Your agent reads their site and comes back with plans, prices and positioning, and every line is quoted from the page it came from. It runs on your model. You keep all of it.

Paste it into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any agent that can read a web page and save a file

Or install it yourself with two files
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/rivalcheck && cd ~/.claude/skills/rivalcheck
curl -fsSLO https://rivalcheck.com/skill/SKILL.md
curl -fsSLO https://rivalcheck.com/skill/rivalcheck.py

That's the Claude Code folder. Other agents use their own skills folder, and the install guide covers them. The checker needs Python 3, which most machines already have.

Every claim is a quote

Prices, limits and plan names come with the exact sentence, the URL and the date. A script checks every quote against the captured page, so a price can't drift onto the wrong plan.

It remembers what it saw

Each run saves a dossier in rivals/. Run it again next month and you get what changed, with before and after.

Yours, on your machine

There's no account and no API key from us. The dossiers are Markdown in your repo, so you can diff them, share them or hand them to another agent.

Free and open source. RivalCheck uses your agent's own model, so a dossier costs whatever your plan charges for reading a few pages. See a real one for Linear.

Rather we ran it for you?

Send us your rivals. We run RivalCheck, check every line by hand and send you the report.
